Description

Nothing is more like Christmas than getting your pelts back hahaha  Got these back quite awhile ago, but with the recent move have not had time or energy to put up pics.

Would like to eventually put up individual photos of some of these, but for now this is all I could muster.  I managed to get these all put up and sent off before I moved, which was nice.  The two red foxes and coyote were personally trapped or culled by me, and the fox on the end and the coyote were actually tanned in home by me, and I think they came out really well for a first go! Especially given how rotten the coyote was when I skinned it (lots of gangrene from a belly wound likely afflicted by sage).  Aside from the fur it previously lost, it had no more slipping.  They could have been taxidermy quality (and I wish like mad the fox I tanned was because it was the nicest fox I have ever caught in terms of coloration and fur) He however had a run in at some point with a larger canine and had so many wounds and scars.  His skull was really interesting with damage as well, but I felt bad -the guy was definitely a fighter!

My other red was the largest I ever caught (as big as a ranch fox) so I got it professionally tanned instead, but they shaved part of the leg off, so I'll have to figure that out for mounting.  The other three foxes (arctic marble, pearl, and snow glow) are ranched and done up for taxidermy as well, which I am hoping to get more time to dive into nowt hat I got a good amount to work on.  Really excited to work on the snow glow; I have wanted to see one in person for a long time but many had a lot of 'dirty' looking markings or coloration, but this one is creamy white for the most part minus its point markings. I think it will make an amazing mount when done!

Just felt like I had to post something; I've been dead on here far to long, and hopefully that trend will not continue.

Please note: I respect your opinion, but if you do not like taxidermy, biological concepts, hunting/trapping, or dead things in general, in return please respect those that enjoy all that aspects of life, including death.
